KERNEL constitutes a conceptual and participative platform that has the intention to encourage a dialog, on the Internet but also in physical space, on practices of management of information, of the designing process and of creativity.
Apart from organizing online projects, events, workshops and curatorials, KERNEL’s research subject is the design of a physical space in an open source-like way.

You can download and use the designs found under the “versions” category and contribute by designing versions about possible events (such as workshops, lectures, screenings, curatorials etc) that take place in the modified construction. Your version can either be based on the “KERNEL core” or on other preexisting versions.
